Registration Procedure and Fee Details
Eligible candidates need to visit the MCC counselling portal and log in to start the registration process. During registration, they must fill in the required personal information and examination details to complete the online application.
The information required during registration includes the candidateтАЩs name, guardianтАЩs name, NEET SS application number, roll number, score, date of birth, category, and citizenship details.
Candidates are also required to pay the counselling registration fee to complete the process. The non-refundable registration fee is Rs. 5,000, along with a refundable security deposit of Rs. 2,00,000. This brings the total payable amount during registration to Rs. 2,05,000.
Counselling Rounds and Seat Allocation Process
NEET SS Counselling 2026 will be conducted in three stages: Round 1, Round 2, and a Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates who qualify for All India Quota seats based on their NEET SS rank are eligible to participate in the first round of counselling.
Once Round 1 is completed, any vacant seats are carried forward to Round 2. Candidates who did not register earlier or those who were allotted a seat but did not report to the college can register again for this round. Additionally, candidates who selected the upgradation option in Round 1 can submit new choices for Round 2.
The Stray Vacancy Round is conducted to fill any seats that remain vacant after the first two rounds. However, candidates who have already joined or are holding seats from Round 1 or Round 2 of All India counselling, as well as those allotted seats through Tamil Nadu state counselling as in-service candidates, are not eligible to participate in the stray round.
