Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College

Recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI), the Medical College Pune has the distinction of imparting medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate and at doctoral level. The super-speciality 856 bedded Bharati Hospital is a Teaching Hospital, which is attached to the Medical College to impart practical knowledge and to provide unique learning opportunities to its students. The Hospital extends service to four lakh population in the vicinity at reasonable or no cost and about 400 specialists are involved in patient care. The college has also been recognized by the General Medical Council of Great Britain. It is also listed in the World Health Organization’s directory of recognized medical institutes.
